What Makes Reagan Special
Learning for Life, Learning for Leadership
Our vision extends beyond academic achievement. Reagan students are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively, embrace creativity, and develop the confidence to lead. These skills prepare Rattlers to succeed not only in the classroom, but wherever their path takes them after graduation.
Opportunities to Find Your Place
High school is a time to discover what you're capable of. With nationally recognized programs and more than 90 clubs and organizations, Reagan students have opportunities to pursue interests across academics, athletics, fine arts, JROTC, leadership, service, and more. Whether continuing a lifelong passion or trying something completely new, there is a place for every Rattler to get involved.
A Culture of Achievement
Reagan students are encouraged to set ambitious goals and pursue their personal best. From National Merit Scholars to accomplishments in academics, fine arts, athletics, and student organizations, achievement takes many forms across our campus—and our students are supported as they discover what excellence means for them.
The Reagan Way
Being a Rattler comes with a strong sense of community and school pride. “Strike 'Em Rattlers” is more than a rallying cry heard at games, performances, and throughout the school day; it represents a culture that encourages students to seize opportunities, support one another, and make the most of their time at Reagan.
A Campus Designed for the Rattler Experience
Even the Reagan campus reflects the breadth of the student experience. Dedicated academic, fine arts, athletic, and JROTC spaces allow students to move between different areas of interest throughout their day, while the courtyard and other shared spaces give Rattlers places to connect, recharge, and experience campus life together.
One of Reagan's most distinctive features is built directly into the campus: representations of the solar system's planetary orbits are incorporated into the floors, extending outward from the “sun” near the library and adding another layer of discovery to the learning environment.
Preparing Rattlers for What's Next
At Reagan High School, students don't have to follow a single definition of success. Whether their next step is a university, career, technical training, military service, entrepreneurship, or another opportunity, our goal is to ensure every Rattler leaves prepared to take it on with knowledge, confidence, and purpose.
That's what it means to learn for life and learn for leadership.
