My mission is to support every student as they Learn for Life and Learn for Leadership—both within our school walls and throughout the broader community. I believe in fostering a learning environment where all students feel empowered to reach their full potential.
I look forward to collaborating with parents, staff, and the entire Reagan community to build upon our shared foundation and ensure this school year is one of exceptional achievement, growth, and pride.

Ms. Jennifer Esparza, Asst. Principal
My name is Jennifer Esparza, and I have over 25 years of dedicated experience in
education. My journey began in my hometown of Abilene, Texas, where I attended public
schools and later earned three degrees from Hardin-Simmons University: a Nursing
degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Biology, and a Master of Education in Counseling
and Human Development. Go Cowboys! I later completed my Principal Certification
through Lamar University.
My career in the classroom started at Abilene Wylie High School, where I taught Spanish for
five years. In 2004, my family relocated to San Antonio, and I proudly embarked on my
NEISD journey right here at Reagan High School. I spent years teaching here at Reagan
before transitioning into campus administration. Through these roles, I have learned the
unique expectations of this community, and I know this is exactly where I want to continue
to serve. Reagan has a long tradition of excellence built on quality instruction, strong
leadership, and a community that deeply values and supports its school.
As an educational leader, I practice servant leadership grounded in empowerment and
supportive environments. While I deeply value traditional values, I always look toward
improvement and innovation. It is vital to honor our past, recognize our present, and
envision our future. It is my duty to ensure the well-being, growth, and success of all
students and my fellow colleagues through a shared commitment to lifelong learning—and
I am here to serve!
On a personal note, I am a proud NEISD parent. I have been blessed with four children and
have had the privilege of watching two of them walk across the NEISD graduation stage. My
two younger children are currently in high school, and we look forward to watching them
walk that same stage very soon! I truly love the NEISD community and feel honored to be a
continuous part of it.

Hey Rattlers!
This is my third year at Reagan High School serving as an Assistant Principal for Curriculum. It is a blessing to be a part of such a wonderful team.
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado (Go Broncos!) and have three amazing children who all attended (or currently attend) NEISD schools.
I started teaching in 2004 and taught English and Social Studies before becoming an administrator, where I have served in a variety of roles.
I am incredibly passionate about our profession and Reagan's mission. I look forward to working with and serving the students and families of Reagan High School!
